Fountain Hills, AZ — Many changes have taken place over the past year that have resulted in a change in ownership of Vitargo® distribution rights and products in the Americas, Australia and elsewhere. One of the brand’s former executives, Troy Beers, has returned and is now CEO. In March, Beers and partner Bernadette Wooster, a former investor in Vitargo, formed Vitargo, Inc., secured certain exclusive distribution rights for Vitargo® products and bought some of the assets of a former Vitargo® distributor.
Firefighter and Firefighter Combat Challenge participant, Hannah Johnson trains hard every day. She started using Vitargo about 12 years ago as a competitive powerlifter. She used the fast carbs in Vitargo mixed with water as a way to rehydrate after weigh-ins.
Once she became a firefighter and her workout routine completely changed, she used Vitargo to fuel her training during recruit school. It made a huge difference in her capabilities and did not cause bloating or nausea, which is very important when your work involves intense physical activity in extreme heat.
This is how the WNBA player Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm integrates Vitargo into her practices, games, and post recovery routines.
“It is pretty simple. Vitargo is my mainstay. I’ve been using Vitargo now for close to 10 plus years. It started out as a game day thing before every game. I actually use three scoops now. I’ve graduated to this. So I use three scoops 30-40 minutes before the game. I’ll drink half of that (about a scoop in a half and you gotta shake and shake that thing for no clumps). I then drink the other half at halftime.
